Every name has a meaning and I am asked regularly what "J.Bella" stands for. I was proudly named Jennifer Isobel, receiving my Grandmother's namesake (Isobel) when I was born. I have come to realize that out of the five girls in my family, this name was most suited for me. "Bella" was a strong woman with great stamina and perseverance. I do my best to live up to this namesake every day.
For many years, I dreamed of having the name "J.Bella" for a business. I wasn't sure what I wanted it to be....but knew I really liked my nickname. After burning many traditional candles in my home, I did a little research on the black soot shooting up from my wall sconce. I learned how unhealthy paraffin candles are and switched to soy candles. Through my love of soy candles, I've found many ways to bring healthy, natural alternatives into our home. We now are proud to offer products under the name of J.Bella so that everyone may bring a bit of nature into their every day lives.
We are happily nestled in the hills of Agoura, California. More importantly, we are a family owned and operated business which would make my Grandmother very happy.
